With regard to chains, this time i used a brand new genuine ducati chain from a new 999s (bike was stripped for racing hence the chain was going in the bin after 0 miles !!!)
and after 3000 miles it still doesnt need adjusting. granted it stuck on an old 916 which may lask the power of a 999S but i reckon even although it looks a bit naff in grey it will last for another 10k before getting tired.
Always been the same on honda, genuine chains are often not as expensive as you think and last for bloody ages

Mine too snapped on Tuesday at Oulton, exiting Fulstones chicane chasing Norman from this site and losing a little on the pull up the hill... i lost all power....

turned out it was the chain snapping.

Bought myself a split link today (searches the whole of Cheshire y'day for one).... WIll fit that for 1 day to take to Louigi and get a new one fitted.

FYI it's a DiD 525 and over 2 years old and looked rough anyway.

No other damage to the bike at all.

Can you put me down for one as well please?

Does anyone have any GREAT quality pics of it ? The chain guard I mean, as I am thinking of seeing how much it would cost to make them
