EOBD light ? Taking the 999 for it's 2nd ride tonight and it was a pig to start, once started the amer engine light stayed on ? Rode fine but the light didn't go out ? Shall I just ignore it ? ;) |

couchcommando, Top Tip - if i was you i would have a look at the fuel pump relay, If it is corroded it will stop the bike starting at an inconvenient moment, usually when your about to go out for a ride. Its pretty easy to do and it is a known fault. If the EODB light is coming on now, and it is this fault, then I think it will happen again. just a thought ! |
EOBD Lights:( Considering the number of times this question occurs, does anyone else think it would be helpful if when the light does appear you make a note of the conditions etcetera and post em up on an EOBD thread in 999/749 forum? Even include what tyres you have? For starters: Model; year; mileage; weather conditions;....solution?? |
