just bumped into...

...one of you lot today. Kevin (don't know his online name) - riding a gunmetal 998r with orange frame & wheels - more than a bit tasty, as was his riding.
a brief zoop from Chiselhampton to Berensfield saw him pop a couple of fine wheelies, and be a more than a bit handy round the twisties too - well done!

a pleasure meeting you on the road and chatting a bit -take it easy, jamess

Hi James it was good to meet you today
Your right you are terrible with names, at least you remembered the Kevin bit.
Bet you wondered what I was at when you came across me following that line of cars, as I tried different calibration figures for my Magneti Marelli dash,
I thought you did pretty well around them bends yourself and look as if you manage to get the most out of those tyres.

Keep an eye on the rideouts section and you may be able to meet up with a few more of us, although it sounds like you have a busy schedule with all those other activities

anyway good to meet and chat with you today

Kevin

It was running at the trackday, just not to good at the starting bit.
Now improved but still work in progress, just that riding around without a speedo was getting a bit hazardous for the licence.
So I have been working to address that issue over the last couple of days, then i can get back to sorting al the other annoying little issues

yarp - stupidly busy with, er, stuff, but will definitely rummage in the rideouts section. Didn't get close enough to you to clock the dash until we stopped!
severely tempted to lurch along to donnington for sept 10th, just so i can say i've managed more than one trackday this year.....

tyres? gp209's - excellent! No, really, even giving good feedback and grip in the wet, and when they do slide it's gentle like.....highly reccommended.

oh, and you've been mentioned in depspatches (well, the PB forum anyway), with photographic evidence, by Reservoir Cogs

yes, i know - you need to sign up to see, but that's the excuse you've all been waiting for. Dead friendly bunch - they won't bite. Much.
