Leathers tucked in your boots or over ? I was just reading the MCN comic, the page that shows Lorenzo falling. I noticed that he has his leathers over his boots. There are a few people that do this. I know that Roy ( Hants RO ) did. Personally I always have my leathers inside of my boots. Anyway are you in our out and WHY ??? Craig |
I thought it was a Dianese thing, the leathers over the boots thing, they say their gear is meant to be worn that way. Might just be for the chubby legged:lol: I always have me leathers inside my boots but I don't have dianese. Might give outside a try, athough it does make the leathers more suceptible to exhaust damage? it's cheaper to replace boots than a set of leathers. Bit like bikers turning socks back over their boots in the 50 and 60's?:D Ray |
I tuck. |
Always inside. Outside looks wrong, even when Rossi does it... |

I am of the "in" persuasion, out is gay! There, that's settled, can we go to the pub now? |
It obviously depends on the cut of your leathers and your boots! I wear a Dainese suit and the legs are quite narrow, so I think it would be quite a stretch to get them over my boots. My boots are Alpinestars SMX-3 and these are quite wide at the top, as if you're meant to tuck the trousers inside. This extra width would also make it a nightmare to get the legs over, although I can with jeans. I suppose if some Dainese suits and boots are cut to allow you to go "over the top" then why not! |
Cos it looks gayer than a gaylord on gayday! |
