Workshop stand... Hello Ladies and Gents, Do any of you have anything similar to this? In use... I want a way of moving and storing the bike easily in my garage and this looks great, but it has been a bit difficult to get hold of the thing so far. Cheers Rich |
Try one of these, I have something very similar that I've used for about 7 years (don't need it much now though, massive garage) http://www.abbastands.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=16 |
Nice one Mr S, if the Moto Boy fails to show up I'll give that a go. Seen them on the M&P site, but was unsure how well it would work just moving the rear wheel around. Cheers Rich |
I remember seeing one a while ago (no idea where) which was like a ring which fitted under one of the wheels and it was on bearings so you could pivot the bike round, tiny thing it was.... Hmmmm I'll have a hunt round |

Hi Mikey Thanks for the info, I had found the Telefix site (it's where the top photo comes from), and been in contact with them, but at the time I made the post they told me they were not able to ship direct to the UK. I also got hold of thier distributers and niether of them stock the Moto-Boy II normally. A bit of English/German relations later and Telefix agreed to ship one from Germany in with some gear for Motorworks and they (Motorworks) will ship onwards to me. For £140+£10 shipment I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it, and getting my car undercover once more!! Cheers to all for the help. Rich P.S. I'll let you all know how it works if you're interested!:D |
I saw one that just connects to the back wheel at Hein Gerricke in Taunton. I can't remember what it was called but it was about £70 and had castors on the bottom to move the bike around. |
