I am right fed up - having to withdraw entries

My central heating boiler has gone pop.
My fridge freezer has died.
My vacuum cleaner has died
I had to have some repairs to my roof done.

I am totally skint so, I've had to withdraw my Pembrey race entries....so no more racing for me until the start of the new season proper. How depressing.

Still - plenty of time to prep the bike and buy more bling over the next few months :)

twpd, that's really disappointing. I feel your pain, I've gone through periods where everything I own seems to have gone wrong at once and required fixing.

Here's to next season!

You have a garage full of bikes, I'm skint and have no bike at all now.

I win, you lose.

:P

You're my last hope to race this year!

Believe me. I sat there and considered selling the 748 but, then I looked at you, knew I'd regret it, knew I wouldn't get what it's worth to me. I then looked at the 800 road bike and came to the same conclusion. Then looked at me Triumph....and...well you know how it is. I hate selling a bike - feels like I'm losing a limb and I love road riding up here.

When I factored in the 400+ miles to Pembrey on me own, the fact that me van needs taxing, and I'd need two sets of Super Corsas for the weekend and that getting myself into debt would hinder next season I came to the conclusion that it was best to pull my entries.

Still depressing though!

Still it should gain me another place :P

Seriously though its a shame I'm not going to get to see you and your 800 bike on the grid, two aircooled Dukes in a Minitwins race that they share with the SoT guys some of whom are on 4V water-cooled Dukes(including Dallas), would have been a fairly rare sight.
Maybe next season then
