DSC is just ( in the MT's mind ) a supposed elite club, run by the few who govern the many.

I am undecidided, or was til I saw Spike debating with mins to go - wets or drys? and ended on wet front and inter rear

Been there done that, were you not at Thruxton that time when I had the 916 up on stands without any wheels in just waiting to make the last minute choice.
Then with the choice made threw the wheels in and Dave trying to be helpful started pumping the front brake lever, shame I hadn't had time to fit the calipers over the disc. Just made it to the collection area with seconds to spare

Often the safe choice as you don't want the rear pushing the front, it was always handy to have a set of part worn wets as well, as you knew some conditions were just going to trash a new set of wets on the big bikes.

Captive spacers and a chamfered lower edge to the brake pads always helped speed things up and you cant beat a single sided arm for a quick rear wheel change

it was those early days which made me interested in watching then racing Kev, so yep :)

easy decision if like brands, snetterton or the test day at pembey, oh and cadwell last year, otherwise for numptys like me its confused.com time
