Monster fuel tank weight?

Does anyone know the difference in weight between the plastic and metal monster fuel tanks?

The metal one Skids lent me to post to Numbnuts in Scotland was around 7.5kg

I remember reading that the plastic tanks are heavier.

I was also told by 2 or 3 people that the plastic ones were about 1kg heavier, but I haven't weighed one.

The plastic ones way 1-2+ maybe more kg than the metal ones, that was one of the main reasons that we put a 748/916 one on Otie's bike.
