Parts Question Couple of questions actually, many more to follow no doubt. Is a handlebar from an SS(pre injection)the same as an 888,eBay£29.35. Image works graphics, are they recommended and ok to laquer over. Are the rear suspension rod-ends really £40 plus each!!!,I dont need any,but how much :o Rear mudguards take it there 888 only, now longer available. Speedo drive is this the same as SS models. Thanks. |
Rod-ends,er yes:( Carbon rear guard avaliable thru Nigel at Sandbar(If he hasn`t got one in stock then it could be a while) Has Natty got ant graphics left? SS cable,I think it`s a bit shorter but still fits(waiting to be corrected on that one) Handlebars, possibly, not sure, sorry. Isn`t it great owning an 888:D |
SS Clip ons are higher rise than 851/888 |
Sorry confusing you,the rear undertray/number plate holder,not hugger.Speedo drive,not cable.Graphics sold on Nattys lists. |
If your not in a rush, im going to try and put another 888 order into the factory now my VISA's recovered :D! Rod ends - £40..yep..but I know a man ... ;) Cheers Nat |

Yep,888 rear mudguard/no plate holder is 851/888 specific,SS ones wont fit.(why,oh why do people hack them off??!!) Speedo drive is the same as SS. And yep,the SS bars are higher than 888/851. |
Just to widen your search...you can use an early ('93-'95ish)monster hugger as they use the same swingarm.. Cheers Nat |
