And we were just saying...

Standing at the petrol station half way round yesterday's rideout, looking glumly at how all the road chippings had peppered my newly sprayed top fairing, all the ST boys were talking about whether you could get those plexiglass headlight protectors - like Fordie has on his 996 - for ST's as well.

Wouldn't you know it. Just gone out to wash the bike down after yesterdays jaunt and my headlight has picked up a big star shaped crack near the bottom edge. It hasn't gone right through and there's no hole in the glass to let water, but if it took another stone hit nearby it would probably be goodnight headlight.

Anybody know if protectors are available for the old shape ST

Jools, i find that i only get sprayed with stones when i ride close to another bike. Those big sticky back tyres dont half throw them about. Cars dont do it and it never happens when i'm riding on my own.

Nells got a few ST headlights kicking around.

Jools,

I'm off to the US (Pittsburgh) in a few weeks.
You can get them sent to my hotel if you need to & I'll bring them back and send them to you...

Let me know
Jas (Hooley)
