Introduction for Swanny996 Hello folks, I thought I would intoduce myself having been a member of DSC for approx 1 month now (althought still having some issues with my membership number)! My name is Phil & I work in Hampshire for a well known breakdown company (yellow & black, not orange & white). I used to ride bikes as a teenager back in the seventies, but got back into bikes in 2002 when i did my DAS test (Motag - bloody good 5 days). I wanted a 916 but could not get fully comp insurance as a novice rider. I got a 748 from Pro Twins in feb 2003 as my first sports bike & I've been in love with Ducati's ever since. I now have a 996 , which I bought this year & really love. The 996 is a keeper (only 7,000 miles when i got it). I get out most Wednesday nights to Loomies at West Meon & sometimes on a Sunday morning if I can. Cheers for now.... |
Welcome, 996, Mmmm nice. As the bar is open may I have a Southern Comfort & Ginger please:) Chris:burn: |
Welcome swanny, 996 with only 7000, nice purchase! Mine's a Coopers Pale Ale, cheers. |
Welcome, just remember you're Swanny #2 ;) An Ice cold Guinness for me:D |
Hello M8, welcome to the club. I belive we meet at Loomies and had a chat. I was the one with the other 996 trying to prize your wheels off your bike. Hope to see you at one of our Hant/Berks/Ox meets ( if I get out of bed ) It looks like your membership is sorted on the board as you have a roundel next to your name. Craig |
Welcome, look forward to seeing you at one of the meets / rideouts |
sorry about the membership number thing but welcome back to biking |
Great bike Phil, welcome and I'm sure we will meet at some point. Kim:) |
