Different Wheels for Paso

This is probably not the correct forum, but would anyone know which Ducati wheels would fit my 750 Paso? She's currently got 17 inch wheels, but I would like 16 inch ones so I have more than 1 choice of tyre for her... thanks for any advice...:D BC

Are you sure about that.

The biggest problem I see is the Front Disc size and fitting, a bit different from most of the Later bikes in the Ducati range

Have you got that the right way round? are you sure that you haven't got 16" wheels but would like 17"? All current Ducati's (and other bikes too) have 17" wheels and loads of tyre choice.

:rolleye: yep of course I've got 16 and want 17... having a blonde moment (am not blonde)...It's the tyre choice I'm after and wheels off something later that will fit - thanks guys... BC

Yuky thing, just dump it and get a nice Honda 50 step thru`

Aah,more acid wit from rcgnob...

Paso wheels,
Same problem as the '88-89 750 Sport,...lack of decent rubber. No cheap option for this I'm afraid.AFIK,no 17"Duke wheels will fit straight in.As Skids said, the discs are a problem. You could fit wheels from, say a Monster or SS,but the problem is what to do with the disc brakes. It would take a fair bit of engineering to make them fit.
Dymag list wheels to fit the Paso on their website, might be worth a call. Not cheap, but would drop straight in.

Just a thought...might be a really dozy thought... but wouldn't a front end transplant be a relatively cheap option?

A set of forks, discs and front wheel from a later SS perhaps? Would they fit the yokes even if a bit of modification was required?

Hmmmm...then there's the rear as well...Nope, can't think of a cheap or easy solution.
