Racing change

Well thanks to Alan from AJR for the racing gear change. Fitted it about 3 hours ago and then out for a ride. Had to keep reminding myself that the changes are now the other way round, one up the rest down. Alan, I'm well pleased with the outcome, upshifts are cleaner and quicker and the downshifts with a thorttle blib are a lot smoother. So far I've only had one silly moment downshifting when it should have been up, (now where's the money for the slipper clutch) the back end was sliding around all over the place fortunatly was not going to quickly.

Best mod yet.

Alan, other leaver going in the post back to you as soon as.

Why did you have that done Murray??

you'll have to leave post it notes everywhere i'd hate to think of consequences if you happen to forget on a sunny sunday blast and change down instead of up hammering into your favourite corner :(

or the up instead of down even !

Nigel, I'm sure it wont take to long to get the hang of it. The reason behind doing this is that I will be getting some rear sets in the future and the replacment gear leaver is not going to be any where near the price of the OM gear change (£87.00 + VAT), plus there's loads more adustment available.
