Brake lever pin - part number? I'm on the hunt for one of these little brass dowels that does in the brake lever to push the piston into the m/c... . Can't seem to find a part number. Can they be bought separately or what? [Edited on 3-3-2005 by NBs996] |
You can't get them on their own Nick............... they only come with the lever, and the OE Ducati ones at that. The pattern stuff relies on keeping the old one :flame: |
Try this guy on ebay - he may have one... http://stores.ebay.co.uk/id=33073632?ssPageName=L2 |
Hmmm... thought as much. Thanks nelly. I bought a lever a year ago and it didn't have that little bit with it, I had to use the old one, 'twas a genuine ducati part too! They can't be too difficult to make tho, just need a small 9mm bar and drill a hole in the side - Looks like a little project may be forming! |
Nick, I've got a complete M/Cyl with lever from a '97 748 sat in my garage you can cannibalise if you want. It's left over from my radial conversion. |
Mr S, that's very kind of you! Allow me to send you a brief u2u... |
I'm after a clutch m/c if there are any bits left when Nick has finished... :D |
Antonye I did consider this to replace my current clutch m/c http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...sPageName=WDVW But I'm about to feel the pain of the top end rebuild / SP conversion costs, so it may not happen. If it does, I'll let you know. |
This is for the DesmoDue bike, so it needs to be CHEAP! |
