At the moment the Bus Companies are reporting problems with running busses between Abingdon and Didcot

There's no local train station so getting to Abingdon will still require the use of the roads. Even getting to the 'park and ride' closest to Abingdon to get the bus to Oxford takes the A34.

From all reports it will freeze overnight, temps of up to -6 reported, so the roads will be dangerous.
