996 Airbox Seal I'm on the phone to JHP now chasing one of these and there's a bit of head scratching going on. Does anyone have a part number for one of these? It's the main big rubber seal that runs around the airbox that the tank sits on. Cheers, TP |
mastic mate .. or bathroom sealer .... or maybe some industrial cement, that'll stop the gravel getting in ... xx |
Errr.. great, thanks Dibble ... Well, parts at JHP have thrown their hands in the air. They reckon you can't get one separately which I don't think is the case - I know their man parts man is otherwise occupied at the moment. .... Can anyone help here? |
phone Kevin at DLS on 0208 689 6998, if you tell them I sent you he'll take your call ... or just lie and say you are me to get put through .... :frog: |
Natty sold me one ages ago, and it had a part number, so you can buy them separate. In fact I'm sure I've still got one spare which I offered you ages ago when I got your airbox painted, you numpty. <goes to check> 7911 0411A "Gasket" for a 996. |
The parts pdf's dont list it as a separate item.. So your lucky Antonye keeps his rubbish :) [Edited on 28-6-2005 by Mr_S] |
