012ss-pressures

I know this has been done to death in a "general what pressures people use",I'd just like to hear from all the people using 012ss's what pressures they are using on the road-before i high side myself out of orbit! Thanks for your patience!!

32.5/36

When I used the tire pressures recommended by Ducati (32.5F/36R) for my 916 on my favorite road on 24°C days, I got exactly the 10/20% target pressure increase on a set of Bridgestone BT-012SS. So I guess I'm an average rider and the BT-012SS runs at an average operating temperature compared to other brands.

Totto 25-Oct-2003 23:53

Tyre dealer i got mine from recomended 32/34 , the Bridgstone web site says 36/42
For BT12SS's

Having done a search through this message board and the old one, some people seem to run higher FRONT Pressures than rear. This is what i'm trying to get my head round!I was running 32/36 cold when i took it out the other day and thought it was trying to kill me!This is with a 120/70 and 180/55.

Rich,

I'm running 33 front & 35 rear on my 012's and have found them to be twitch-free so far.

Not saying I'm a fast road rider by any means and pushing the front to it's limits but I am getting shred and the 'orange-peel' look on the rear so it's obviously being pushed to some degree.

R your susp' settings okay (knowing this question is full of many different variations etc)?

Each to their own but I always thought that recommended settings had the rear with a higher pressure than the front.

So did i Ray,but if you do a search, some people definately run higher front pressures.

I run my sps 32f and 34r without any drama's,especially after i had the suspension set up by AJR.What effect does it have to the handling by going up in pressures apart from a harder ride?
