Track God Rossi What a racer .The most composed young man just has to be the ultimate Racer. Tacticly brilliant, brave,in total control of the machine and without nerve. Shame its on a Yamaha that was last year unreliable and always crashing. Must be the rider then. Hope the day comes when Ducati get his name on their books. A worthy Champion:D |
And well done that man Caparossi at last a 2004 podium for the works Ducati, its been along time coming but well diserved. As for Rossi ----- Pure Genius And although there still appears to be a Honda lane Ducati has built a faster lane alongside it. |
Yep have to agree, Rossi is just the best - probably ever. He is on an inferior bike compared to the Hondas (IMO) - just see how far back the other Yams are. 2006 Ducati? |
Outstanding. As you say, control of the bike and the race was almost flawless. That last overtake over the crest of the hill section was waaaay outside the laws of physics. Just the fact that he wouldn't settle for 2nd place to take championship makes him the one, true track God. Good on Capirossi for muscling the beast back on the podium.:D Ali |
Yes I must apologise the fact that Loris got a well earned Third place. Ducati need that Rossi bloke on the books. Plz plz plz wave a cheque in front of him:roll: |

that hits the nail on the head, he is a 'racer' of the highest order. he would have taken the championship coming second anyway but wanted the win. im going to valencia for the last race so would have loved it to go down to the wire, but its just great to see the man in action. would love to know if he's thinking about winning the championship on 3 or more different makes? rossi winning it on a ducati really must be the ultimate. |
So will developement for 2005 kick off at Valencia now that the championship is done and dusted, just think what difference that could make to Yamaha, Rossi starting testing 2 months before the end of the year unlike last year where Honda put a block on him riding the Yamaha until after December 31st, will Edwards be allowed to test before this date or is he going to be in the same situation as Vale was last year |

Rossi on a Desmodici. Oh please,please:) |
I have become less fond of Rossi this year, - perhaps his wonderful focus on that title has got in the way of his nice side, although I did wonder if his manipulation of the Biaggi situations wa just that; manipulation. He is a racing genius of the highest order, but not so sure he would ever be the right man for the Ducati job: It has to be his way or no way, and it has to be with Jerry Burgess, - and Ducati Cors is just not set out like that. |
and ever noticed how many of Rossis fan club that surround his bike on the warm down lap are carrying handbags? take a look at the onbike filming, - its handbags all over the place whats that about then??? |
