Skaife sets a flyer at Bathurst (Aussie V8Supercars)
 

Ok ok, I know it's cars ... and I know it's in Oz but Bathurst is an institution in Australian motorsport and once a year even people who don't follow racing will keep an eye on this race.

Skaifey set a blinder in final qualifying nearly nabbing the lap record and enters the shootout tomorrow in the best position. The shootout is kind of like Superpole but they only include the top ten.

There's a high bloody rate of attrition! I'm watching the race now (I love sky+), although sky news did me over with the result!

I watched the end of the race tonight on motors, they said there were alot of pace car periods. wont tell ya the end of the race but it was a good un !

Nice build up to the race with all the tributes to Peter Brock !

Shame they live feeds wernt in sinc with the pictures and sound being well out hehe:lol:

Perhaps there could have been a bit of scullduggery with Holden forcing a late pace car. :o :o
