Back from Cadwell,

Domski won I think, Phil 2nd I *think*, it was neck and neck with Kyle Hinton

Griff won the 583's and Andy Challis came second

I left before the 2nd race since there wasn't much point me hanging around, qualified pole 583, New Era said I was on the grid instead of reserve, get to grid and Chris Bushell says I'm not, total lack of communication between NE and RC, they need to get their ****ing act together.

Sorry to hear you've missed out on the racing, that's really poor.

Surely if New Era say you're racing you're bloody racing?! I don't understand that, or why Chris told you you weren't?

Chris? What's the story?

the sooner that ALL MT and RC members are voted in and not just given positions the better ....

I thought New Era ran the race series ??

so did they, no doubt ......

To put this all straight......

The Cadwell round was over subscribed and those who put their entries in last were put on the reserve list, as is usual in such an event.

The number of riders allowed out in qualifying exceeded the number allowed to race (38) so the reserves were allowed out in qualifying to ensure that if a place later became available due to one on of the original 38 dropping out they could take the vacant spot.

New Era made the mistake of including those who had gone to Cadwell as reserves due to late entry on the grid listing and corrected that once it was pointed out to them. If that had not been done then those who entered the meeting more promptly would have been unfairly penalised.

This applied to others and was explained. Having discussed this with the other riders concerned it was decided that a clarification of this will be added to the rules for 2007.

It was the only fair way to deal with the situation which was not of our (the RC's) making in the first place.

Great day of racing, good to see so many of you turn out to both compete and spectate !!!!

Like it was said by several people, the only ****ing race that takes place is the one to get your entries in then
