Description:-
Ducati 1198S Race/Track bike. (2009 - Low Mileage - ONLY 809 miles)
Freshly built to a high standard and never raced or tracked yet.

VERY low mileage 1198S with many extras including:-
Full 70mm Termi system
Correct Ducati RACE ECU and Ducati Performance Air filter.
Ducati Traction Control.
Ducati Slipper clutch.
Alloy Front and Rear Race subframes.
Full Ohlins Front & Rear incl rear preload adjuster and Ohlins Steering Damper.
1098R wheels with 330mm discs with speed sensors.
Metzeler Racetec Tyres that have only done 3 gentle sessions at a track day
Ducati Performance seat.
Ducati Performance adjustable rearsets .
Large air intake tubes.
1198S Monobloc calipers
Adjustable radius Front master cylinder with folding lever.
Carbon Front mudguard, rear hugger and various gaurds etc as pictured.
Race Fuel filler.
Black swingarm.
Frame and Engine numbers intact and visible, but NO V5.
Built on USA frame with most other items incl engine from low mileage donor 1198s (2009)
Bike is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and ready to race.
Obviously sounds fantastic and is very fast.

NEW motorsport oil with new filter.
NEW 525 chain and new battery.

I thought most race ducatis have 520 chains?
Has the motor been pulled down and if so is it worked at all?
What is the bhp and what dyno was it done on? you say it is fast but it hasnt yet been on track or has it? Is the suspension worked or reat ttx or just std 1198 ohlins? What price? Is this the one thats been on ebay?
lots of questions as have a mate looking for one but really looking for one with v5 rather than a standard bitsa made from others but if price was right he could be interested.

Thanks for the enquiry. Questions are never a problem.
I considered a 520 conversion, but wanted the chain to last longer if just used as a track bike. Suspension is standard 1198S forks with a worked standard rear Ohlins. Motor is standard untouched 1198S, and it has not been on a dyno at all. I gave it a little blast along a private road near me to try it out. (Standard 1198S's are quite fast, aren't they?) Yes it is the one on ebay and I have it advertised for £10995. If I'd have built it from a UK frame with V5 , I'm afraid it would have been a higher price.
