i know i,ll put some mesh in , now how much would that have cost ducati , or mv to that cos there the same !!!

Dibble 05-Oct-2005 23:36

it aids aerodynamics as air that gets forced past the front edge has a natural escape route at the rear of the fairing as opposed to the fairing increasing resistance to wind flow even further ... hth ...

Ace, I think it looks great. Where did you get the mesh from? What did you use to stick it to the inside? And how did you get it to follow the curve of the fairing?

So many questions...! I wanna do the same thing, give us some pointers! :D

you've bought a "homologated for race use" motorcycle, not a BMW GS.

would you buy a Caterham 7 and complain about the flappy doors ???

it is what it is .....

believe it or not i tried everywhere to match the mesh from the nose cone , and found it in a major diy chain ! it bends and forms easy with some patiance ! that one side took about an hour ! as for stickin good epoxy does it !!! but the race boys will say the extra weight will slow em down !!!!!!!!!!!:lol::lol:
