Basic suspension settings Can anyone give me the base settings for the suspension front and rear on my 1995 900SS? I weigh 13st if we can fine tune it... Cheers, Sneaky |
Base settings from the owners manual: |
PS - heres an excellent guide that Edwyun posted some time ago - mainly posts on www.ducati.ms http://www.geocities.com/edwyun/suspen.html Good luck - Frank |
Thank you so much for that last link. My 750SS suspension was perfect, or so I thought. After reading that guide I realised that yes it does loose traction over ripply surfaces while accelerating. The rear was set was too hard, slacken the pre-load off and I now have a far smoother more progressive, more responsive back end. Thank you very very much! |
No problem - glad to of helped out. Edwyun of course is the guy to thank - he has an account on here as well if you care to drop him a line: http://www.ducatisportingclub.com/member.php?u=7769 Cheers - Frank |
Top posts! Fanx gang. I'll get back to this tomorrow when I have more time ;-) The bike is on stock, but its way to hard for road riding. It'd be ace on the track I bet. But giv'vin it some on the road would be lethal! |
