Top bloke Chris Walker, but he doesn't just have that edge, that consistency. Toseland had the better of him, and I'm not overly convinced that JT has true star quality... Strange things happen in wet races, agree that to finish first, first you must finish and it was a real win, but it's a bit like saying Jenson Button's a top-line F1 driver, just because he won a race in the wet... Do it in the dry and I'll believe it |

I thought Walker and Buckmaster had a big falling out  |
Think they did when he left them but I heard they had patched it up.... |
Hasn't done Bayliss any harm taking a step back this year. |

With the greatest respect to Troy, isn't that because he's a great superbike rider, but not right up there with the best of the GP riders? How many superbike riders succesfully make the switch to GP? OK, Haga, Xaus and Hodgson all went to second rate outfits perhaps, but Edwards and Bayliss have both ridden front line bikes, but not performed as well as their GP-nurtured team-mates. |

ffs I didn't say he wasn't a great guy, just not in the very top rank of WSB riders imo (which must surely be obvious?) get off your high horse ferchrissake |
Guys there is a real big difference between WSB & Motogp. Total difference animals. There was articals written that said that Barros will win the title and be up front all the time!! There has only been one true Motogp to WSB rider and that was John K. Yes I know there was Frankie etc etc... Max will have problems next year. You cannot compare these 2 championships it's like having F1 & GT series. |

And Kevin Shwantz and Wayne Gardner. They were both big 4 stroke bikers before jumping to GP's. In fact most of the owd boys were, Lawson, Rainey, et al. Ains. |
