WSB - Silverstone short circuit!! Taken from www.crash.net The fifth round of the World Superbike championship will take place at the 'short' International circuit at Silverstone instead of the usual Grand Prix layout. The International track misses out on the fast Hangar Straight and Club Chicanes, both perfect opportunities for passing manoeuvres. Instead the 'short' International circuit by passes these features with a tight infield making use of spectator vantage points to full effect. The lap distance will be down from 5.036 KM of the GP circuit to 3.561 KM of the International track. WSB manages to make a mess of things yet again IMO. Why the hell would they do this? :puzzled: |
Why oh why oh why? Maybe their not expecting a big crowd? |
Thats put me off going, I always liked viewing at Stowe Corner |
Think i will give it a miss now. And watch from my armchair. Very disappointing that a world championship is being fought out, on the short circuit. I'm booked for Assen and Brands WSB so that makes up for it. Clint. |
well, I will be going but only coz I get in free... |
According to MCN... Quote:
...dunno how using a smaller circuit will provide more action :puzzled: |
