I got a new one from Ducati Kamna last year. They may still have some, but I don't see them on the web page.

Got mine from Nattyboy - worth a try

Also theres a seat pad on ebay from 'ceepeedee' who have loads of Duc stuff, you could try them too, really helpful too..

I priced one at Woods last week & was quoted £44 for one to fit the later seat but they didn't have a price for the earlier type which I need. I seem to remember seeing one somewhere for about £20, but I'll be blowed if I can remember where :(

I got (a thinner) one made up by RD Designs (rddesigns@boltblue.com) - excellent job.

Just to make sure Im not confusing the issue,I need the one thats behind you,not the one your ar-e sits on.

"""Youll also need the special dzus pin that secures it which I know is still available (about £7)""""

---> Do you mean the long Dzeus Male part ???
I tried to order one few months ago through out a French Ducati dealer.
He's usually very helpful for me but answered this reference was now obsolete ...

How could I manage to get a couple as spare ???

Thanks

Phil911

aka.eric 18-Feb-2006 19:44

Sure Nattyboys right,I,ll find out on Monday. Can always send you a couple over.
Thinking about it,Dzus fasteners come in various lengths,so it doesnt have to be a Ducati genuine part does it?.
For example:-Length of stud Material Thickness
12mm 9mm
14mm 11mm
18mm 15mm
Available in stock for £3.25-3.29 +vat.Whats the stud length of an original one ?.

Pin details

Rob B 18-Feb-2006 20:58

You'll also need to make sure whatever Dzus you gat is compatible with the seat clip

phil911 18-Feb-2006 23:55

I've got identical fixing clip on the tail ... and the original back pad is referenced Year 1993 ...

I'll check the lenght tomorrow coz I plan to spend my time off in the garage ... France is under rain !!! :( :(
