Castle Coombe Race 4th June
 

Ok all of you DD racers out there, we have been plotting behind the scenes all week on a cunning wheeze that we can now announce.

To give all of the racers the chance to meet each other on an informal social basis, rather than helmets & leathers on with a track in front of you, we thought that it would be nice to arrange a get together at the next round.

Once I had got my head round the fact that the race is on Saturday not Sunday, then planning can start. Accordingly we will be getting together on the Friday night from say 19.30 onwards.

Dave & Annette have kindly offerred to lend their new pavilion for us to meet in (in case it rains) but we prpose to do the cooking outside! Butch is going to bring a large BBQ to cook things on, all you need to do is bring your own food and beer.

Please confirm to me your attendance and how many you will be bringing, so that we have enough charcoal!

I am trying to understand... What is a pavilion ? You mean a big white tent ? If so it will take place at the circuit ?

If I understood well, Julie and me will be there, with food and drink :D

Yes and yes. Just make sure you're there with food, drink and Julie to carry you back to your tent.

yes you have it right, we will set the big tent up next to Monty's Motorhome. The aim is that all of the DD racers can set up next to each other in the paddock.

We'll see if we can get there in time, even if we can't help demolish the beer and steak mountain (not enough calories for my racing diet :lol: ) we could always help Annette demolish the marquee afterwards, thanks for the offer peeps ;)
