Castle Combe Trackday Tips Anyone got any tips/advice riding a 1098 around CC?:) |
Watch out for the bumps :o |
You've got a lot of power on tap and a fast circuit, however, a few of the corners have fast entry, but slower exit in that they are tougher/more technical than than they look on entry and for a fast and safe lap, I would suggest paying attention to the good old slow in fast out technique and using the low down torque of the big vtwin. As ever, start slow and build and as with any track, smoothness pays major dividends. WeeJohnyB |
Put your baffles in  |
I can certainly do slow in and mostly slow out and probably slow for the other bits and of course must mind the bumps:D Glad someone reminded me about the baffles;) Thanks guys. |
They are strict with the noise and they will want it at 7.5k also so that they know it will be ok on track. |
