If anyone is interested in a charity run for kids in The Wirral/Merseyside/North West of England.this is normally held about 1/2 weeks before Easter and comprises of a 1 to 1 1/2 hour ride for local kids who are stuck in hospital over the Easter period.On the way you will be stopped by members of the public to take easter eggs/monetary donations to a local hospital,which is then distibuted to children's charities throughout the NorthWest.The event normally attracts in excess of 10,000 bikers from across the UK and Europe(no bullshit).MCN have been invited for the last 5/6 years and haven't bothered their ****** because it's something that they haven't organised!(they won't even cover it in the comic!!)This event normally attracts positive media coverage in the North West from the TV and Radio.If i am not on duty for this weekend i will happy liase with people off our forum to ensure we have a good presence at the event.At the end of the day the event is for kids who are stuck in hospital over Easter ,so the more that turn up the merrier.hope to hear lots of positives off the members of this excellent forum. |
