748 r running wide in corners

Something i've noticed with my bike , first time it happened thought it was just me but its happened a few times , normal speeds all is ok ,but if i get to a corner when i'm giving it some i start to run wide then if i try to counter this by leaning a bit extra it realy feels like the front is going to tuck , its quite scary , the are tyres are diablo's and all the preasures are ok ,any thoughts ? rear ride hieght maybe ?

I generally find this happens when the rear ride height is set too high, but you usually notice at walking pace as the front sort of flops around.

Best bet is definitely to have someone help you with setting the suspension up for your weight/height/style. Why spend £x000 on a bike and not chuck another £60 getting it right? Try a search on the site for suitable folk to help out.

Cheers,

Ali

Tyre pressures , static/loaded sag , check them then post back , make sure all settings back to std ,ignore me if you have already done all this

First and foremost.......

What profile front tyre are you running.....60 or a 70 ?

Mine did this when i bought it, noticed it really drifting on roundabouts.. Had my front Ohlin seals and oil replaced, and this stopped the problem.

And prob set your front sag at the same time

Could be 60 profile front tyre, had the same problem
changed to 70 profile, no more problems.

Same as Gaz - front always felt like tucking in on the 120/60.
