New to 916 Hey I just bought a 98 916 biposto, after a 10 minute ride I had to have it. I see that some people say the 996 is far better, I know that the motorcycling world can be just as full of b*** s***ters as any walk of life so I wondered what the truth was, yes I realise the 916 will be down on power but surely the handling will be the same and this is where the Ducati 's excell..............isn't it. :puzzled: |
I found the handling exactly the same after changing from a 916 to a 996, but was a lot happier with the engine. However, it was just as good on the road, and it is a lot better looking than a 999:o:o, so now you have bought it, just enjoy it:D:D:D |
yep Get some track days booked:burn: |
I'm not sure about track days, I can't afford to crash it, yes I know you can go as fast or slow as you want but it must take a lot of willpower to stay calm when someone passes you. I have thought about it though. I live in East Yorkshire so Croft or Cadwell would be the nearest. My biking mates are a bit too competetive so I don't think it would be fun going with them. :) |
You won't find many B**L s******s on Dsc :biaggi: Welcome to the great world of DUCATI You will get honnest opinions and help if you need it. Owning a Ducati is a great expirence. They do handle like a Dream if your running a 190 rear tyre ditch it and fit a 180 as it will steer quicker. When you can afford it fit ohlins rear shock. Have fun mate and enjoy every moment:biaggi: Age |
Dont Track it Love IT Bling it and ride the wheels off it !:burn:; enjoy it :D |
