TDC I'm trying to get a 749 back on the road. When I bought it, it had no timing belt on the horizontal cylinder, and I don't know how to get TDC. Can anybody tell me where the dots should all be pointing on the timing pulleys? I bought a manual off ebay, and guess which pages were missing?:puzzled: |
bloomin heck you dont want to get that wrong:o |
You're right there. It's one of those things that's easy when you know how. I wish I new how. |

There is only one obvious mark for the drive pulley, but I'm not sure where the camshaft pulleys should be facing. Is the manual small enough to email? [Edited on 22-4-2006 by adrian.groves] |
No,but send me your addy and I'll do you a copy. |
U2U is on it's way. Thanks |
They dont have any marks on the pullies/heads as Ducati use locking tools in the end of the cams to get right position |
