S4R First ride feedback

Well we all say it about every new bike we have "it's the best bloody bike in the world" well I am saying it again this time I Mean it-the S4R.

It's the style of bike that I should have had years ago!

All those years and money spent on sports bikes that gave me back pain, I could not use the mirros etc etc but yes, they looked good.

Well this one looks good, but....

You can use the mirrors, seating is comfortable, forward vision is brilliant, a relaxed enjoyable ride, looking at the tyres have probably lent this bike over more in one morning than all of those past sports bikes that have gone before.

The power of the bike is brilliant typical 996, brakes wow!, steering is stable, it gives you confidence which it self improves the riding experience of the machine, even around town traffic it was great get your order in now! highly recommended in black of course.

I love it

Had the opportunity to stop in at Ducati Leeds over the weekend and was SERIOUSLY tempted by a blue with white stripe S4R. What a lovely bike! I was in my car, so didn't have the riding gear with me but made myself promise to back with gear and test ride their demo.

Now that I've taken my RS off the road and dedicated to the track, I am looking to buy another road bike. And I don't need the extreme performance on the road anymore as I get my speed kicks on the track now. The S4R seems like just what I want: Good looks, great handling, good performence, much improved comfort.

Just not sure if I should wait until next season now.

Must admit that I do like the looks of the S4R. When I get better will seriously look into p/x my 749 against one as not sure the shoulder will be able to take sportsbike riding anymore.

Webby - you can always take my ickle lady out for a spin when you are mended, as is the same ride height/bars etc as the S4R, without the 'umph' that it has.
