Making a paddock stand

Hi,

Decided to make a single sided paddock stand to fit my 996 as I don't have one at the moment and the material only cost me £12.
I'm just after a little info on spindle diameter and length that it goes into the hub.

Thanks for any info,

James

Done the first prototype of my paddock stand(no laughing at the back)and everything seems fine except the spiggot that fits into the hub only goes in 40mm.
I've used 25mm bar for the spiggot and was wondering what diameter other paddock stands use and how far they should go into the hub.

you should work for Ducati; those welds are better than the 1098 swingarm ones!!
