Will These Adjustable Clip Ons Work as Well as Helibars or Cyclecats? |
Not sure how adjustable they are, they don't look much different to the ones Harris do with a riser that brings them up flush with the top yoke Gilles Variobars have a fair bit of adjustment but they say you can't us the riser kit on a 916/996 etc http://www.oppracing.com/images/cmsu...996%20engl.pdf |

Thanks for that - I'll give the suppliers a ring on Monday. |
I've just bought a set of the Speedymoto adjustables in black. The suppliers (Spareshack) told me I'm the first person in the UK to fit them to a 748/9** series bike, so I'm in uncharted territory with respect to clearance issues, relocation of brake fluid resevoirs etc. I'll post an update when they're fitted. Here's a couple of pics of them fitted to a 1098. They appear to give a decent lift to the height of the bars and they also seem to be adjustable for bar angle through a reasonable range. All in all, from what I remember, they look quite a lot like the Cyclecat gear. Close up of RHS bar LHS bar is a Speedymoto adjustable, the RHS bar is the OE |
Update - now fitted Short write up and photos here: http://www.ducatisti.co.uk/forum/duc...tml#post288831 |
