998 Immobiliser?

Thinking about getting a 998, just wanted to know if it was immobilised in the same way as my 749 (with the master key matching the clocks and ECU)?

Im a bit confused by all this security business :puzzled::lol:

Short and blunt, but straight to the point, and just what I need to know!

Cheers BDG!

Sorry didn't mean to be rude.

No ,but if you dont start the bike within 12 seconds or something of turning the ignition on it wont start , you need turn off/on again

So its not just my Hybrid then, they all do it.

Although they use the 59M CPU module the same as on the coded bikes they are wired within the harness with a +ve feed to the keysense pin of the ECU. So don't try swapping one to a later bike to see if the ECU works otherwise you could end up coding it.
