1198 Safety recall
 
just received in the post 2 letters referring to a 1198 safety recall. the codes quoted are 773 and 777. tried looking on the VOSA but nothing listed. Any one know what they are referring to?

Is it not the Ohlins forks falling to bits recall !!!

773 is about fuel lines, 777 is about the RH Ohlins fork leg.

773 about fuel lines ...hmmm that might be me that started that as i had it only a week and it sprayed me in an fine mist of fuel from the fuel line coupler. wasnt impressed. Recall 777 LOL Showa's are ok but appears the Swedish have got it in for us?

Just got a phone call to take my bike in tomorrow to have my fork replaced, it was checked when the first re call came out but no cracking was found, as far as i know i am the first to have a new fork replacing a none cracked one.

Mine done on Friday last (28th) no cracking found - happily.
