price guide roughly what is the price fora 996R all standard apart from the front brake set up. this one has PFM six pot calipers and iron discs. 4700 miles new belts, new tyres, service history, excellent condition. Im thinking of letting her go again and going for two bikes, one for the road and one for the track, so need the money to do this. Trade in for this model is £7200. Absolute disgrace. |
Non-standard brakes won't help you sell. Can you put it back to standard first? I don't know 996R prices that well, but I guess you're looking at 8.5k??? |
Adam just have a word with Tim. I'm sure you will regret letting her go for a 2nd time. Its not all roses you know having two bikes. Take no notice of the new fangled duke lovers. They are only jealous because the new one a depreciating fast. £10,000 not a penny more or a penny less;) [Edited on 19-8-2005 by Jon] |
Can't comment on the effect on price with the front brakes, but i would say you should get around £9500 for it as standard, as long as no one realises its been owned by Rattler for a while:lol: Just for reference the CAP trade book doesn 't list a price for anything like a 996R or a 998R. Wouldn't it just be worth having spare track bodywork/wheels and using it for both? |
dont sell it my friend you will only regret it, why have two bikes, the 996 is a flexible tool and can do all you require. you will just end up losing money and a dam good bike. sorry to be so direct |
