We had a little chat about this yesterday:

Looking good!

skidlids 05-Dec-2006 15:06

oops missed that, then again my link goes straight to the dates and entry prices so is a ickle bit different

phillc 05-Dec-2006 15:15

Yep, a useful addition :-)

I wonder if, just for fun, anyone would be interested in riding the junior events on their DD bike........

Apparently last year an SV650 Minitwin came second in a 6hr 600 class race. Doesn't sound like a DD 620 would be totally outclassed!

skidlids 05-Dec-2006 15:31

Now theres an idea
race my 750SSie Minitwin and 620 class A bike in the Junior at Pembrey in July

3 rider team of myself and fellow DSC member Dallas and my mate Adrian, sadly of the 3 I'm the slowest around Pembrey

It doesn't look like there is a class for it in the Junior event.

1000cc Open
600cc Open

...unless you're thinking of a 583??? :o

I may be reading it wrong though.

Junior 2 hour endurance, twin cyliders over 600 and up to 750, 2 bikes required as there is no fueling, just need to swap the transponder over and send out a team mate on the other bike

or

Have I misunderstood

I did post a question about that on the Hottrax forum Skids. I was told that I could run one bike (the 748) but would have to fit it with a fueling rig. Link to the forum.

[edit]
BUT now I read the rules it definitely seem like running one bike is prohibited as is fuelling in the pit lane... and there's no mention of allowing 750 twins... bugger!

I know of 2 1000cc jap bikes for sale that can win that championship !

Anyone got £10,000 spare

Check out the wording under Junior 600

Junior 600cc

4 cylinder over 400cc to 600cc

3 cylinder over 600cc to 675cc

2 cylinder over 600cc to 750cc

Number plates: White background, Blue numbers

No engine tuning but anything goes as long as the bikes conform to the ACU regulations

A minimum of 2 bikes and 2 riders in required for this championship. 3 bikes and 3 riders are allowed.

1 bike is not allowed as refueling during the race is not allowed

The transponder is taken from 1 bike and put on the other at the pit stop.

Maximum riding time is 30 minutes per rider with a 15 minute break before that rider is allowed to return to racing
