Evoluzione Clutch Replacement Balls It naive queston time guys. Whilst relocating back to the UK from Turkey I carefully packed the ball bearings for my STM Evoluzione slipper clutch in a plastic wallet to keep them safe. Now 6 months later I can't for the life of me remember where I put them so I need to source some replacement ball bearings. Any idea as to their size/spec and a good source for replacements? |
once you get the spec, you could go to your local bearing supplier and get loose ones from him, if not try a cycle shop who use them in all sorts of bicycle fitments |
The advice I have received from Evoluzione direct is that:- "....the size of the 6 balls is 1/4"", or about 6.35mm if you prefer..." Just thought I would post this up should any other members require replacement sets. |
This guy is I believe the UK importer or was as the case maybe. http://www.gtecperformance.co.uk/ducati-service.htm Chris:burn: |
that guy geoff, is probably the most qualified uk ducati bloke going......ex ducati uk, ex moto cinelli trainer, ex jhp service manager......now working for himself. He is a ducati service outlet, and one that i trust. i believe he sells stm stuff too... |
