Are the racetec's dual compound?

les996 03-Nov-2005 21:08

decisions, decisions!!!:o

might play it safe and stick to the renns...

although I don't need to replace until start of next year - don't do the cold/wet:roll:

Thanks for all the help though, it is appreciated.

I just re-read your first post though and in your case I don't see a problem.
Just be careful if you go out when it's cold!

A good source of cheap Racetecs, especially at this time of year is racers. The pair on our gixxer cost £40 from a friend who races in national superstocks, they'd done one twenty minute practice session and are more than good enough for what we do with them. You will struggle to get 180 rears though since almost all the racers these days are using 190 rears. :)

...must admit I have seen quite a few on the internet , but all with 190 rear - not sure about moving over to that, like my 180's too much...but then what do I know:rolleye:

Thanks for all the advice Simon - sounds like that 190 might be the way to go - just spoke to JHP about it:D

Very similar to the Supercorsa Pro - my sc1/sc2 lasted a surprisingly long time on the road
