And another one!

Ian Harris: Serial underachiever - 15 years travel industry experience (commercial & operational roles for airlines and tour operators) followed by 10 years in IT. Rode the "Year 2000" gravy train for all it was worth as an "Enterprise Resource Planning" contractor. Currently working in "Data Acquisition" for a travel website (XML, C# and all that malarkey).

Studied Sports Physiology at university, so know a bit about exercise / nutrition etc (Atkins Diet? Biological fricking vandalism :flame: ). Used to be a pretty handy racing cyclist, which probably explains why I still think going round a corner at 50 mph is pretty bl00dy daring. In my spare time, I've done a bit of HiFi reviewing which, along with my IT stuff, gives me a coveted "Platinum Anorak" rating on the Internationally respected ANSI "Geek Scale".

Always wanted a Ducati since the 250 and 350 Desmo singles were being tested in Bike and Motor Cycle Mechanics in the late seventies. Finally got my 996 in March this year, love it to bits and am doing as many trackdays as I can manage to try and move away from my current "Knees clamped to tank for maximum sphincter control" riding style.

So, if you want any advice on what to eat in order to get fit while sitting listening to music as you plan your next holiday on-line, you know who to call.

Okay then,

Paul Charlton, Architectural Technician for the past six years, member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists, qualified Engineer as well (construction), very experienced with AutoCAD and other drawing packages. Handy with a spanner, just bought my first house (at 40!!) and spending all my time and money doing it up so learning loads about DIY (and doing rather well at it actually!!). Hobbies include mountainbiking and flying.

aka.eric 23-Oct-2005 22:25

Bricklayer-think Im in the wrong place after reading the above!,and frustrated guitar player.

chicken 24-Oct-2005 05:44

eric, there's no such thing as "bring in the wrong place" when it comes to here.

Yes, there are people here that can shoot your cufflinks off at 100m, others can diagnose a faulty computer just by listening to the whirring noise it makes, while others have jammed with Hendrix. But if I need a row of bricks cemented in a straight line then I know who I need to call.

C'mon folks, this isn't the claim to fame thread - what do you know how to do?

Stu748R 24-Oct-2005 18:21

My earlier entry obviously wasn't good enough to be put on the edited version then, its probably coz my tikka master continental in 22.250 homeloaded with 55gr speers on hodgsons varget with with an average of 3780 fps and a leupold 6.5-20 X 40 with mil dot sight only manages 3/4 of a moa groups.

Thats no bull,thats a V bull !!!!!

Hee hee
