does anyone know the part numbers for gates timing belts for a 1998 748bip

Been thrashed to death over the years. Search the forums.
In short, Gates manufacture purely for Ducati. You can get something close but not the real thing.
In all honesty, it's not worth saving a few quid. I've pulled several motors apart now with non OE belts that have let go and busted the valves, heads, pistons etc.
There was/is a good article on Ducati UpNorth on the subject.
