Thruxton Club race Sunday 11th July
 

Next Sunday the North Glos race club has a meeting at Thruxton.

My original plan was to enter this meeting on the 400 but as it didn't return from the TT I didn't send in a entry.
I'm currently in the process of seeing if I can get a late entry on either my 600 or my 916.
It may not happen but either way I intend to go to Thruxton next Sunday to either race or spectate.

So hope to see a few of you there

Just had a email back from Marion Carnall the entries secretary at North Glos, She can get me a entry in the Sound of Thunder and a reserve in the 600 races.
I have asked Marion to enter me in the Sound of Thunder races.

I will probably be starting from the back of the grid and will be racing my 916BP road bike with all of its 104.8bhp on the countries fastest circuit against bikes on the front fow of the grid in the form of Ex GSE 996RS's, 998Rs and a like.
So I don't expect to do that well but I do intend to enjoy myself.

As I wasn't intending to race the Ducati this year I have a bit of prep work to do before I travel to the circuit on Saturday. Tyre choice will probably be limited to a new set of Diablo Corsas on mag wheels and a set of wets.

I have asked if I can have a couple of extra passes/tickets if they turn up I'll try to pass them to anybody interested or pass them to Senna3 to hand out.

Kev - who do I have to sleep with to get the free tickets??? Alternatively, if prostituting myself is not enough, can you give this club racing novice an idea of costs and start time.

Paul, I'm not sure how may tickets I will get yet, the normal allocation is 3 but I have asked for Extra. The original 3 are already spoken for with them going to myself, Senna3 and Gordy. Not sure if Senna3's wife is going to be there or if my mate Dallas who normally races with me wants to come along. Your then next on the list Paul.
Failing that Paul its usually about £10 to get into a club meeting, with free access to the paddock etc

Felix, I don't suspect I'll be showing any of them how to do it, i'm not sure if Phil Bevan will be there on his RS but I know Mark Buldock will be there on the CSC Ex GSE 996RS. Still it will be the first time I will have mixed it on the track with the Mini Twins (Probably all SV650s) which will make a change from where New Era have added CB500s and Hornets to the Mix.
As for yourself Felix try and stay off the grass this time and see if you can get one of those trophy things Weeksy is on about.
