Rear Spindle where to source Been scouring the tintetweb for a new rear spindle on the 800, It's 15mm by the looks of it but can't find any new ones. Do we have any recommendations. Also what do you use to drift it out, I am knackering mine using a 10mm socket extension. Ive had to refile some of the threads |

I've got a pushrod from some old motor that I sometimes use as its got a nice domed head that sits in the hollow spindle end. But my spindle can be pulled out by hand. Are you sure that yours is a) greased, b) not bent and c) there are no burrs in the alloy spacer tube in the wheel? I use a single ended 600ss spindle in my early 750ss alloy swingarm, for what that's worth! |
Still available from Ducati. £44.32 inc. |

It's got an alloy one which Ducati John replaced for Nigel. The spindle is somewhere between 15 to 17mm hard to measure with my rubbish tape measure. |
Same arm as in my 1000SSie DS and in the last of the 900SS ie models So part number 819.1.009.1A According to the American websites $76 http://www.ducatimcparts.com/product....1.009.1A.html So about the price Nelly quoted |
If its anything like the change from monter to ST it's longer too |
