She Lives

Just finished the wiring on a Class B bike I'm building, chucked some petrol in the tank and she fired up :)
First time I've heard the engine running since building it from 3 seperate engines.
Bottom end from one engine, Heads off another and Barrells and Pistons from Kev Palmers original 2005 DD bike which were removed prior to racing and replaced by a 675 Kit

It's a great feeling when they fire up for the first time after a major strip down.

I have just walked back in from the garage after getting my TL running again, after having a complete strip down for the frame to be welded.

It didn't start this afternoon, and gave a FI indication, so I have been having a scour of the forums, while out for family lunch, and went straight back in the garage to continue with the fault find, after 20 mins, she's running again. It was the primary coil wires connected the wrong way. Doh !

So it's happy days again, and time for a cold one.

My TL motor is still waiting for me to strip it and fit the replacement gearbox, no hurry as its been like that since 2003, when the TT bikes first took over and then DD, plus a few road Ducatis.

And now I have another living 583 soon to be Class B race bike

Little bit more work on the 583 today so it now has a front brake, a working Clutch and a front SES Fairing Bracket

May even have a working rear brake later on today

Something has to as the current job doesn't as it just about covers the bills and the redundancy money is eeking away, but at least the mortgage is a lot less :)

As I didn't have the bits to hand the other day the rear brake had to wait until this morning, but is now done.

Matt Black seat that I had off Spliff

Ideal day for sorting the replacement Electronics out on Dallas's old bike, its the only bike I own witha Bi-directional CAN system so wanted to try a few ideas out before selling it on.
But as its not here I have Just been doing a few jobs on the Class B bike this morning, I may have to wheel it out into the Sunshine later and take a few Photos as its almost finished
