Moto Giro Bike - Slowly getting there Nearly there - only a few more weeks left till Sicily!!! http://www.hsimons.demon.co.uk/Restoration.htm |
looks well nice Harry is that the original frame colour ?? |
thank you! It's as close as we could get to the original colour - apart from the Green and White Cam, 24mm valves and Carb (up from 22mm), conti cored megaphone exhaust, decent tyres, speedo (yeah - speedo - didn't have one fitted originally!) and a few other odds and sods, it's as close to original as we could get it. Chris Bushell takes most of the credit! |
Blimey!!! ........you must have the patience of a saint!! Nice one!! Tim:frog: |
Superb Harry .. .. a huge well done to both Chris and yourself. |
Very, very nice, indeed. Looks like you were somewhat busy over the winter! Wouldn't mind doing one of those projects myself one of these days. I am still trying to get my hands on my grandad's old bike for the purpose of restoration. It's a Universal 650 twin, which he bought from the factory in Switzerland back in the late 50's. It's been stored for about 25 years. |
wheres the carbon ????? and you want an Ohlins front end on that mate ..... Looks great mate ..... |

That is stunning, makes me what to ramp up getting my 250 going. |
Thank you guys - got the MOT last week and should get the number plate next week, all being well. Eddieb - Phil in Aus is a good source - although the import duty can be a bit painful. I'll have an ask around for some of those bits you want - something will turn up when you least expect it! H |
