How do you adjust a rear brake?

How do you get rid of that initial movement of the rear brake pedal, you know the movement that feels springy, before it starts to apply pressure to the pads?

i'm full of little pearls of wisdom ....

the top folk screw piece can be taken apart and adjusted and locked off to adjust the lever angle.
the bottom bolt with a lock nut will adjust the "slack" in the feel.be careful not to be cutting it to fine-don't want the rear brake to be on all the time...
all these adjustments are graphicaly shown in owners manual..
hope this helps....

Yeah, you need the play or the disc at the rear is gonna get seriously hot and stop your bike - and i'm speaking from experience. if it happens all you can do is wait for it to cool and put the play back in
