Ohlins Forks Wsb

the story is ive a pair offerd to me and was contemplating fitting them to my track bike?

that would be a wide track front end
so you will need a wheel and then some discs + spindle.
haven't got one. myself. because its all very expensive.

negotiating with owner who at present has not named price, i guess ide expect them to be expensive huh, just looking to find out off some peeps who know a bit more than me about the values of these sorts of things before i go make an offer

try giving Wilf a shout.
he may have a better idea.
my guess is around the 5 grand mark for all the bits you need
but probably more

A pair of Ohlins WSB forks are not a simple bolt on part.

As well as what Keefer says about the wide track conversion...

You will need to pull them apart and try to find out what's in them.. adjuster rod size, shim stack, valve sizes, springs, preload tube size etc etc So really try to get this info from the seller. (you may well just get the standard.. "whatever they came with" answer.)

There were 100's of options available and if you dont know what's in them you may have to spend a lot of money trying different settings to get them to work on your bike.

They are a 9 year old set of race forks. so they should be very cheap now.

good luck.

A brand new pair of road & tracks, would perform equally as good,if not better, today, the wsb set up is werth about a grand,to fifteen hundred kwid,in todays market, tops !

good point Simon, the lastest RT forks would be just as good unless your a race god. the only benefit (apart from the looks! - which is why most want them) is that there are many more tuning options for the SBK forks.

RT evertime i reckon.

I agree with the value of the SBK forks, no more that £1500 if they're old ones.
