Buy new Termi assymetric can, carbon cover, link pipe, filters + ancillaries (no ecu) = approx £550

Buy a PCIII for a 748 off fleaBay (same but cheaper) = approx £150

Have it all setup on dyno (IMHO, better than 1 size fits all DP ecu) = approx £100

Enjoy spending the change (from not buying the ecu) on some bling (if that's your bag) or a couple of trackdays. :burn:

Fantastic!! Can you recommend good tuner in the south east. Will have a surf for the parts, am guessing Ducati( would be a good place to start.

Cheers

I highly recommend Pro-twins in Godstone. They're an official Ducati service centre & I've found them to be exceptionally professional, helpful & very reasonable when it comes to servicing.

Neil Spalding @ Sigma Performance knows a thing or two about tuning Ducati's and he's based in Tunbridge Wells

Thanks for the leads guys. A question about the PC111. Is it piggy back or stand alone. ie will it render the Ducati immobiliser useless if I go for the version for the 748, I have a feeling it might.

Cant find the Termi kit without the chip, may have to go second hand for that.

PC3 usb is piggy back, get the one for your bike and it comes with all the correct connectors and will not affect either the imobiliser or any alarm you have fitted. Most people locate it behind the left hand side fairing on the battery box.

Can't say whether or not a 748 one will work ok.

I've just fitted a 748 PCIII usb jobbie on my 749s. Everything fits & works fine. It doesn't go anywhere near the immobiliser, so that isn't affected.

Some people on these boards (sorry, can't remember who) have bought the parts separately (without ecu) rather than as a kit. Somebody listed the actual parts you need in a post within the past 3-4 months. You should be able to get them from any Ducati specialist that sells the kit.
